UX Communities

A UX Community is a closed online platform with an exclusive user pool that gives companies direct, continuous access to fast user feedback. This allows ideas, concepts and prototypes to be tested and developed further flexibly and resource-efficiently, without having to initiate elaborate recruitment processes.

The need for continuous user research for faster product development

It is often a challenge to collect feedback from users of your website regularly and quickly. Conventional methods of user research are often lengthy and not continuous, which slows down the speed of product development and can lead to undesirable developments. This is mainly due to the fact that it is not so easy to involve your own users regularly and efficiently in the development process because, for example, recruiting them is time-consuming and resource-intensive.

Direct user feedback with the UX community: test and develop ideas flexibly and efficiently

With our UX community, you can develop, discuss and test ideas, concepts and initial prototypes quickly and flexibly with your own user pool. And this is immensely important, because the development of new digital products and services should be continuously accompanied by user feedback. This means that the user is involved in the development right from the start and it is constantly checked whether the development is still in the interests of the user. For this to work, developers need easy and practical access to quick and continuous feedback. With our UX Community, this is exactly what is possible.

FAQs

A UX Community is a closed online platform with its own exclusive user pool, through which companies can obtain feedback on ideas, concepts and prototypes quickly and flexibly at any time. It enables the continuous involvement of real users throughout the entire product development process, from the first idea to the finished product.

A UX Community is suitable for companies that want to continuously develop their products and digital services in a user-centered way and rely on fast, flexible feedback. We at SKOPOS NOVA support companies in building and maintaining tailored UX Communities.

Since the user pool is already built and activated, time-consuming recruitment is eliminated. Simple surveys or short concept tests often deliver initial responses within 24 to 72 hours in an established community. More extensive studies with qualitative components typically take five to ten working days. Compared to classic recruitment via panel providers, which often takes two to four weeks, this is a considerable acceleration.

Classic user studies are one-time, time-limited research projects. A UX Community, on the other hand, enables continuous, iterative feedback across the entire development process. Users are not only surveyed once but are permanently involved in development and can actively help shape ideas.

UX Communities are particularly suitable for iterative methods that benefit from repeated access to the same target group: unmoderated remote usability tests, concept validations, short surveys or card sorting studies. They are less suitable for methods that require a fresh, unbiased perspective – such as first-contact studies or market research on new target groups. In these cases, we recommend supplementary external recruitment.
