UX Training is a structured professional development measure in which teams learn concrete UX methods such as user research, usability testing or research ops and apply them directly. Unlike UX Coaching, which focuses on individual competence development, UX Training aims to build collective methodological competence within the team. UX Consulting, on the other hand, assesses and changes structures and processes. Training enables the team to drive these changes itself.

UX Training is aimed at product teams, designers, developers, project managers and executives who want to build or deepen UX competencies. It is particularly effective in companies that have had little structured UX processes so far and are looking for a concrete entry point, or in growing teams where new members need to be brought up to a shared methodological level quickly. The formats can be used regardless of prior knowledge.

The duration depends on the learning objective. Individual method workshops are often designed for half a day or a full day. Multi-day intensive formats with practical components typically last two to five days. More extensive programs, for example to build a complete UX research center of competence, can extend over several weeks and combine training sessions with accompanying practical phases.
